According to the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for January-July 2024, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 36,835.4 million USD and increased by 1,859.5 million USD or by 5.3% compared to the same period of 2023.
Of the total volume of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover, Exports amounted to USD 14,786.0 million (the share of exports in the foreign trade turnover was 40.1%) and Imports – USD 22,049.3 million (the share of imports in the foreign trade turnover was 59.9%). As a result, the balance of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to a negative balance of US$ 7,263.3 million.
To date, the Republic of Uzbekistan carries out trade relations with 187 countries of the world. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China (18.6%), Russia (18.5%), Kazakhstan (6.2%), Turkey (4.6%) and the Republic of Korea (3.2%).
