(English) The World Bank will provide $100 million in financing to help the authorities improve access to and the quality of social services for vulnerable groups in Uzbekistan.

(English) In September 2024, the composite Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Uzbekistan amounted to 101.2%. For January-September 2024, the CPI amounted to 106.8%. In annual terms, the composite CPI amounted to 110.5%

(English) The Asian Development Bank has raised the growth forecast of Uzbekistan's economy from 5.5% to 6% by the end of 2024. In 2025, the bank forecasts Uzbekistan's economy to grow by 6.2%.

(English) In January-august 2024, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover totaled $42,703.3 million and increased by 6.6% or by $2,657.7 million compared to the same period last year.
