(English) In January-September 2024, 343.1 trillion soums ($27.2 billion) were disbursed in the Republic of Uzbekistan of investments in fixed assets or 131% more compared to the corresponding period last year.

(English) In the first 9 months of 2024, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to US$ 48,206.2 million and increased by 7.7% or US$ 3,452.1 million compared to the same period last year.

(English) For 9 months of 2024 the growth rate of gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 106.6%, index of physical volume of industrial production amounted to 107.0%

(English) IMF: Uzbekistan’s economic performance remains strong. Real GDP grew by 6.4 percent year-over-year (y/y) in the first half of 2024.

(English) The Board of Directors of the World Bank has approved a financial package in the amount of $800 million to support the reform program in Uzbekistan aimed at accelerating the transition to an inclusive and sustainable market economy.

(English) The World Bank will provide $100 million in financing to help the authorities improve access to and the quality of social services for vulnerable groups in Uzbekistan.
