(English) Fitch Ratings has affirmed Uzbekistan's Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at 'BB-' with a Stable Outlook.

(English) The foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January 2024 amounted to $4.198.5 million.

(English) According to the Investment program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first quarter of 2024, the attraction of foreign investments totaling $7.2 billion is scheduled.

(English) As of January 1, 2024, 766 Industrial Zones have been created in the country, including 24 Special Economic zones (FEZ), 532 Small Industrial zones and 210 Youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones.

(English) In January 2024, the consolidated Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 100.6%. In annual terms, this indicator was at the level of 108.5%.
