(English) At the meeting the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan decided to cut the policy rate by 0.5 percentage points to 13.5 percent per annum - the lowest level since June 2017.

(English) For the period from January to June 2024, the growth rate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was 106.4%, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 105.2%, and the Industrial Production Index (IPI) reached 107.8%.

(English) In January-June 2024, 229.3 trillion soums of fixed capital investments were mastered in the Republic of Uzbekistan, an increase of 136.6% compared to the corresponding period in 2023.

(English) For the first half of 2024, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to 31,828.2 million US dollars and increased compared to the same period last year by 8.5% or 2,486.7 million US dollars.
