(English) The International Rating Agency S&P Global has affirmed Uzbekistan's credit ratings at 'BB-/B' with a stable outlook.

(English) In May 2024, the overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Uzbekistan was 102.8%. From January to May 2024, the CPI amounted to 105.5%. In annual terms, the overall CPI was recorded at 110.6%.

(English) The World Bank approved a $100 million concessional loan for Uzbekistan to implement the Innovative Social Protection System for Inclusion of Vulnerable People Project.

(English) On June 12-13, 2024, the PLUS-Forum "Digital Uzbekistan" (formerly "Fintech, Banking and Retail") will be held in Tashkent.

(English) Uzbekistan, for the first time, has placed Sovereign International Bonds in 3 currencies: USD, EUR and UZS (Uzbek Soums), worth $1.5 Billion.

(English) From January to April 2024, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $20.870 billion, increasing by 5.9% or $1.1648 billion compared to the same period last year.
