(English) The countries of Central Asia need to develop common approaches to the formation of the Central Asian space of industrial localization and import substitution based on national industrial development programs. This was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the IV Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

(English) In June, the foreign exchange part of Uzbekistan’s international reserves increased by $157.5 million, and the gold part by $39.8 million. The Central Bank has published information on the international reserves of Uzbekistan.

(English) A presidential decree “On measures to introduce advanced technologies in agriculture at the expense of grant funds from the government of the Republic of Korea” has been adopted.

(English) According to the State Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2022, there are 14,353 enterprises and organizations with foreign capital in the republic. The number of these enterprises increased by 1,539 compared to the corresponding period last year (112%).

(English) On July 15, 2022, in Tashkent, under the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the VIII meeting of the Council on Industrial Policy of the CIS member states and a meeting of industry ministers of the SCO member states were held.

(English) According to the results of last year, Uzbekistan mastered $11.1 billion of foreign investments – this is 113% of the annual forecast. Investments in fixed assets amounted to $9.8 billion, demonstrating a growth rate of 110% compared to 2020 indicators.
