(English) Currently, there are 21 special economic zones (SEZs) operating in the Republic of Uzbekistan, 19 of which are specialized in industry (FEZ), 1 in agriculture and 1 in the tourism sector, 116 directorates of small industrial zones (hereinafter referred to as SIZ), 12 technoparks and 440 clusters, which included: in the FEZ - 512 enterprises, SIZ - 1,865, technoparks - 58 and clusters - 446 enterprises.
