(English) GDP growth in Uzbekistan this year, according to the new forecast of the World Bank, will be 5.1%.

(English) As of May 1, 2023, the number of operating enterprises with the participation of foreign capital in Uzbekistan is 12,989 units.

(English) Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan for January-April of 2023 amounted to 19.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 2.3 billion US dollars or 13.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2022.

(English) On May 16-18, Samarkand hosted the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

(English) In January-March 2023 in the Republic of Uzbekistan 56,6 trillion soums of investments in fixed assets were disbursed and, compared to the corresponding period in 2022 this amounted to 103,1%.

(English) As a result of the Tashkent International Investment Forum–2023, contracts and agreements were signed for a total amount of 11 billion US dollars.
