According to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-September 2023, foreign trade turnover in the country amounted to 44.8 billion US dollars and increased compared to the same period last year by 8.1 billion US dollars or by 22.1%.
Of the total foreign trade turnover volume, exports amounted to 17,739.4 million US dollars (by January-September 2023, an increase of 22.1% was noted), and imports – 27,014.8 million US dollars (an increase of 21.2%). As a result, the balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to a negative balance in the amount of -9,275.4 million US dollars.
Today, the Republic of Uzbekistan carries out trade relations with 193 countries of the world. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China (21.1%), Russia (15.7%), Kazakhstan (7.2%), Turkey (5.3%) and the Republic of Korea (3.8%).
