According to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2023:

• The permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan as of January 1, 2024 amounted to 36.8 million people (an increase of 775 thousand people or 102.2% compared to January last year);
• The growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) amounted to 106.0%;
• Consumer price index CPI: 108.8%;
• Index of physical volume of industrial production amounted to: 106.0%;
• The growth rate of retail trade turnover: 109.1%;
• The growth rate of Foreign trade turnover amounted to: 123.9%, including: import growth rate 124.0%, export growth rate: 123.8%.
