According to the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for January-august 2024, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to $42,703.3 million and increased by $2,657.7 million or by 6.6% compared to the same period of 2023.

Of the total volume of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover, Exports amounted to $17,344.0 million (the share of exports in the foreign trade turnover was 40.6%) and Imports – $25,359.2 million (the share of imports in the foreign trade turnover was 59.4%). As a result, the balance of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to a negative balance of -$8,015.2 million.

To date, the Republic of Uzbekistan carries out trade relations with 188 countries of the world. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China (18.8%), Russia (18.2%), Kazakhstan (6.2%), Turkey (4.6%) and the Republic of Korea (3.1%).
