The delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ilzat Kasimov, is participating in the China-SCO Conference on Industrial Cooperation in Sustainable Development. This event is taking place in Tianjin, China, from April 9 to 11 of this year.

On the sidelines of the forum, the delegation conducted bilateral meetings with Lin Zhi, the Vice Minister of Commerce of China; Lei Wentao, the head of the China-Europe Economic Cooperation Fund; and the management team of CITIC.

The potential for allocating preferential loans from Eximbank for canal concreting projects in Uzbekistan, collaborative efforts to enhance the strategic partnership with China in the implementation of large industrial and infrastructure initiatives, elevating cooperation in the banking and financial sector to a new qualitative level, and increasing collaboration in trade, transport, and logistics, along with other pressing matters of bilateral cooperation, were discussed.
