The Uzbekistan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 6.4% in January-March 2025. The price index compared to December of the previous year was 102.1%.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to stimulate production, export and entrepreneurial activity, increasing the efficiency of trade and industrial policy” (No. PD-67 dated 04/18/2025), ‘golden visas’ for foreigners will be introduced from June 1, 2025.

On April 18 a meeting was held under the chairmanship of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on discussing measures aimed at decreasing the negative impacts of economic instability on the sectors of our country.

Reached an agreement on a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the period 2026–2028. The memorandum outlines the planned implementation of 28 new projects totaling $4.2 billion.

According to the Asian Development Bank's forecast, Uzbekistan's economy will grow by 6.6% in 2025 and by 6.7% in 2026.

Uzbekistan's international reserve assets increased by $6,672.2 million in the first quarter of 2025, reaching $47,853.8 million.
