Which countries have the largest number of enterprises with foreign capital in Uzbekistan?
According to the State Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2022, there are 14,353 enterprises and organizations with foreign capital in the republic. The number of these enterprises increased by 1,539 compared to the corresponding period last year (112%).

Largest oil and bitumen field discovered in Uzbekistan
The largest deposit of extra-viscous oil and bitumen in Uzbekistan has been discovered in the Zerafshan valley. The field was discovered by the joint efforts of Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (SEG) and Kontiki-Exploration. It was called “Yangi Uzbekiston” (“New Uzbekistan”).

World Bank Invests 143 Million USD to Improve Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings in Uzbekistan
The Board of Executive Directors of the World Bank approved a $143 million concessional loan for Uzbekistan. The funds will be used by the government of the country to finance a project to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings and develop the institutional and regulatory framework to attract investment in clean energy in the building sector.
