A Presidential Decree has been adopted introducing large-scale measures for the development of small and medium-sized businesses for the years 2025–2026.

In January–February 2025, the retail trade turnover amounted to 57,100.1 billion UZS, showing an increase of 110.2% compared to the same period in 2024.
