Address by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Third Tashkent International Investment Forum

In April 2024, the composite Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Uzbekistan stood at 100.9%. For the first quarter of 2024, the CPI reached 102.6%. In annual terms (compared to April 2023), the composite CPI was recorded at 108.1%.

The GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first quarter of 2024, at current prices, amounted to 242,701.6 billion soums, which increased by 6.2% compared to January-March 2023 in real terms.

During the period from January to March 2024, the Republic of Uzbekistan demonstrated remarkable achievements in the field of capital investment, marking a record volume of 107.1 trillion soums.

By the end of the 1st quarter of 2024, Uzbekistan's Foreign Trade Turnover amounted to $15,823.0 million and increased by 6.2% or $927.9 million compared to the same period last year.

As of April 22, 2024, the permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan reached 37 million people.
