The Decree of the President “On measures to further improve the procedure for conducting an examination of pre-project documentation for investment and infrastructure projects, procurement documentation for a tender, terms of reference for public procurement and contracts” (No. 332 of July 25, 2022) was adopted.

The countries of Central Asia need to develop common approaches to the formation of the Central Asian space of industrial localization and import substitution based on national industrial development programs. This was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the IV Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

A presidential decree “On measures to introduce advanced technologies in agriculture at the expense of grant funds from the government of the Republic of Korea” has been adopted.

According to the State Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2022, there are 14,353 enterprises and organizations with foreign capital in the republic. The number of these enterprises increased by 1,539 compared to the corresponding period last year (112%).

On July 15, 2022, in Tashkent, under the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the VIII meeting of the Council on Industrial Policy of the CIS member states and a meeting of industry ministers of the SCO member states were held.
