According to preliminary data from the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan for the first quarter of 2023 amounted to 14.8 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.6 billion US dollars or 11.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
In the volume of foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan for 3 months, exports amounted to 5.7 billion US dollars (38.5% of the total foreign trade turnover), and imports to 9.1 billion US dollars (61.5% of the total foreign trade turnover). As a result, the balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to -3.4 billion US dollars.
In January-March 2023, Uzbekistan established trade relations with 167 countries of the world.
