(English) A new World Bank report provides policy recommendations for Uzbekistan on how to boost foreign direct investment and create new sources of economic growth.

(English) On November 3-4, the ancient Silk Road city of Samarkand will serve as the spectacular backdrop for the second Uzbekistan Economic Forum, an assembly of the world's leading economists, influential investors, and international experts.

(English) A meeting was held at the MIFT with a delegation from the EBRD, within the framework of which a loan and project agreement was signed for the construction of a new power transmission line, which is part of into the system of JSC “National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan”.

(English) MIFT has published the Investment Guide of Uzbekistan, designed to provide potential investors and business representatives with all the necessary information in English, Russian and Japanese for making investment decisions.

(English) According to the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the 1st half of 2022, the current account formed with a deficit of USD 830 million (USD 3.3 billion for the 1st half of 2021).
