The Gross Domestic Product of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 9 months of 2023 amounted to 751 trillion soums (about 65 billion US dollars) or increased by 5.8%.

In January-September 2023, foreign trade turnover in the country amounted to 44.8 billion US dollars and increased compared to the same period last year by 8.1 billion US dollars or by 22.1%.

In January-September 2023 y. 226.6 trillion soums (more than 19.6 billion US dollars) of investments in fixed assets were disbursed and, compared to the corresponding period in 2022 this amounted to 111.8%.

The growth rate of Foreign trade turnover for January-September 2023 amounted to: 122.1%, including Import: 121.2%, Export: 123.5%; Consumer price index (CPI): 105.1%; GDP growth rates 105.8%

In his speech the head of our state put forward a number of important initiatives for the further development of the industry.

According to the IMF forecasts, in 2023 the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan will amount to $90.4 billion, and the general government gross debt will be 35.1% of GDP.
