According to data from the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the 1st quarter of 2024:

• The population of the Republic of Uzbekistan as of April 1, 2024, amounted to 36,963.3 thousand people, an increase of 765.5 thousand people compared to the same period in 2023.
• Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rates reached 106.2%, which is 0.5% higher than the same period last year.
• The index of physical volume of industrial production amounted to 106.5%, an increase of 2.4% compared to the same period last year.
• Consumer Price Index (compared to December of the previous year) was 101.7%.
• Real growth rates of total population income reached 111.5%.
• Foreign trade turnover growth rates reached 106.2%, including import growth rates of 103.8% and export growth rates of 110.0%.
