As of August 1, 2023, the number of registered enterprises with foreign investments in our republic amounted to 17,659 units. Compared to the corresponding period of 2019, the number of such enterprises increased by 1.8 times.

Their dynamics for the corresponding periods of recent years was reflected in the following form:

• In 2019 – 9 642 units.
• In 2020 – 11 726 units.
• In 2021 – 13 465 units.
• In 2022 – 14 993 units.
• In 2023 – 17 659 units.

As of August 1, 2023, the number of operating enterprises with foreign investment in the republic is 12,771 units. Of these, 4,849 are joint ventures (38%) and 7,922 are foreign enterprises (62%).

Their number by sectors of the economy was reflected in the following form:

• in trade – 4 190 units.
• in industry – 3 172 units.
• in construction – 885 units.
• in the information and communication industry – 771 units.
• in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 479 units.
• in the industry of accommodation and food – 467 units.
• in the transportation and storage industry – 430 units.
• in the healthcare and social services sector – 178 units.
• in other types – 2 199 units.
