According to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as of October 1, 2023, there are 819 special economic zones in the Republic of Uzbekistan, in which 5,196 enterprises and organizations operate. Of these: 22 special (free) economic zones (hereinafter – SEZ), 323 small industrial zones (hereinafter – SIZ), 24 technoparks and 450 clusters in the Republic of Uzbekistan, which included: 752 enterprises in the SEZ, SIZ – 2,488, technoparks – 1,501 and clusters – 455 enterprises.

The volume of industrial production for the specified period totaled 55,229.9 billion soums, including: in SEZ – 27,545.6 billion soums, SIZ – 6,354.4 billion soums, technology parks – 699.1 billion soums and clusters – 20,700.9 billion soums.

The volume of investments in fixed capital from all sources of financing during the specified period amounted to 5,650.0 billion soums, of which: in SEZ – 2,487.1 billion soums, SIZ – 325.2 billion soums, technology parks – 334.7 billion soums and clusters – 2,503.0 billion soums.
