According to the National Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2025, a total of 18,164 enterprises with foreign investments operate in Uzbekistan.

Of these, 4,247 (23%) are joint ventures and 13,917 (77%) are foreign enterprises.

The number of enterprises with foreign investment has increased 1.9 times over the past 5 years.

TOP-10 countries in terms of the number of enterprises with foreign investments in Uzbekistan:

1. China – 5,044 (27,8%);
2. Russia – 3,181 (17,5%);
3. Turkey – 2,137 (11,8%);
4. Kazakhstan – 1,212 (6,7%);
5. South Korea – 693 (3,8%);
6. Afghanistan – 635 (3,5%);
7. UAE – 414 (2,3%);
8. Tajikistan – 389 (2,1%);
9. India – 375 (2,1%;
10. USA – 340 (1,9%).

Other countries accounted for 3,744, or 20.6%.
