According to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the first half of 2024, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to $31.828,2 billion, an increase of $2,486.7 million or 8.5% compared to the same period in 2023.
Of Uzbekistan’s total foreign trade turnover, exports amounted to $12.9927 billion (an increase of 5.5% compared to the first half of 2023), and imports amounted to $18.8355 billion (an increase of 10.6%). Thus, in the structure of foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan, exports amounted to 40.8%, and imports – 59.2%. As a result, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover balance recorded a negative balance of -$-5.8429 billion.
The Republic of Uzbekistan maintains trade relations with 186 countries worldwide. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China (18.5%), Russia (18.1%), Kazakhstan (6.0%), Turkey (4.5%) and the Republic of Korea (3.4%).
