According to the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first 9 months of 2024, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to US$ 48,206.2 million and increased by US$ 3,452.1 million or 7.7% compared to the same period of 2023.
Of the total volume of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover, Exports amounted to USD 19,773.8 million (exports share in foreign trade turnover 41%), and Imports – USD 28,432.4 million (imports share in foreign trade turnover 59%). As a result, the balance of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to a negative balance of -8,658.6 million USD.
To date, the Republic of Uzbekistan carries out trade relations with 190 countries of the world. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China (18.7%), Russia (18.0%), Kazakhstan (6.2%), Turkey (4.5%) and the Republic of Korea (3.1%).
