Uzbekistan’s International Reserves Amounted to USD 63,757.30 Million as of July 1, 2026

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has published data on the country’s international reserves as of July 1, 2026. According to the official statistics, total official reserve assets amounted to USD 63,757.30 million.

Compared to the previous reporting period (June 1, 2026 — USD 70,584.68 million), the indicator decreased by USD 6,827.38 million, or 9.67%. Since the beginning of 2026 (January 1, 2026 — USD 66,311.75 million), reserves declined by USD 2,554.45 million, or 3.85%. On a year-on-year basis, relative to July 1, 2025 (USD 48,549.70 million), reserves increased by USD 15,207.60 million, or 31.32%.

The structure of reserves as of July 1, 2026 was as follows:

  • Gold — USD 55,757.06 million (87.45% of total reserves), down USD 5,680.85 million, or 9.25%, from the previous month. At the same time, the physical volume of gold in reserves increased from 13.60 to 13.88 million troy ounces (+0.28 million ounces, or +2.06%). Under the market-value reserve accounting methodology used in IMF-standard reporting, the divergence between the volume and value dynamics of gold reflects the revaluation of the asset at current market prices.
  • Reserves in foreign currency — USD 7,443.49 million (11.67% of total reserves), down USD 1,128.65 million, or 13.17%, over the month. Of this, securities amounted to USD 2,860.96 million (up USD 8.30 million, or 0.29%), and cash currency and deposits amounted to USD 4,582.52 million (down USD 1,136.96 million, or 19.88%).
  • Special Drawing Rights (SDR) — USD 556.74 million (0.87% of total reserves), down USD 17.89 million, or 3.11%.
  • Reserve position in the IMF — USD 0.01 million, unchanged from the previous month.

In addition, the Central Bank publishes a figure for other foreign currency assets (Category B, not included in official reserve assets), which amounted to USD 102.63 million as of July 1, 2026, compared to USD 118.16 million a month earlier (−USD 15.53 million, or −13.14%).

The maximum value of international reserves over the observation period published by the Central Bank (January 2024 – July 2026) was recorded on March 1, 2026, at USD 77,086.35 million.
