According to the data of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan as of October 1, 2024 the number of permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 37,355.4 thousand people.

Other economic indicators of the Republic of Uzbekistan for January-September 2024 were as follows:

• The growth rate of gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 106.6% or 0.1% more than in the same period last year;
• The index of physical volume of industrial production amounted to 107.0% or 1.3% more than in the same period last year;
• Consumer price index (to December of the previous year): 106.8% or 1.7% more than in the same period of the previous year;
• Retail turnover growth rate: 109.2% or 1.8% more than in the same period of the previous year;
• Growth rate of construction works volume 109.1% or by 2.0% more than in the same period of the last year;
• Growth rate of market services provided 112.8% or 0.7% more than in the same period last year;
• Real growth rate of total income of the population 107.7% or 3.4% higher than in the same period last year.
