According to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for January-May 2024, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to $26.733 billion, an increase of $769.5 million or 3.0% compared to the same period in 2023.
Of Uzbekistan’s total foreign trade turnover, exports amounted to $10.8565 billion (an increase of 1.9% compared to January-May 2023), and imports amounted to $15.8765 billion (an increase of 3.7%). As a result, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover balance recorded a negative balance of -$5.020 billion.
The Republic of Uzbekistan maintains trade relations with 186 countries worldwide. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China (18.9%), Russia (17.9%), Kazakhstan (5.9%), Turkey (4.5%) and the Republic of Korea (3.4%).
