According to the data of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for January-August 2024:

• The index of physical volume of industrial production amounted to 106.9% or 1.1% more than in the same period last year;
• Consumer price index (to December of the previous year): 105.5% or 1.7% more than in the same period of the previous year;
• Retail turnover growth rate: 109.1% or 1.9% more than in the same period of the previous year;
• Growth rate of construction works volume 109.2% or 1.6% more than in the same period of the last year;
• Growth rate of market services provided 113.2% or 0.7% more than in the same period last year;
• Growth rates of foreign trade turnover 106.6% or by -16.6% less than in the same period of the last year. At the same time, the growth rates of exports amounted to 105.5% (by -22.3% less than in the same period last year), imports 107.4% (by -12.8% less than in the same period last year).
