According to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan reached $20.870 billion in January-April 2024, an increase of $1.1648 billion or 5.9% compared to the same period in 2023.
Out of the total foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan, exports accounted for $8.4905 billion (an increase of 9.0% compared to January-April 2023), and imports amounted to $12.3796 billion (an increase of 3.9%). As a result, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover had a negative balance of -$3.8891 billion.
Currently, the Republic of Uzbekistan conducts trade relations with 186 countries worldwide. The largest volumes of foreign trade turnover were recorded with China (19.0%), Russia (18.4%), Kazakhstan (5.9%), Turkey (4.4%), and the Republic of Korea (3.3%).
